Use detailed instructions (provided in the workshop) and explore the world of artistic experimentation. Instructor Bio:
Since retiring from 33 years of teaching, Barbara Ellis picked up knitting with a vengeance (after knitting her first sweater at age 10). Knitting provides a creative outlet and a joyful way of meeting with fiber friends. She has used her knitting/crocheting skills to create free-form garments and bags. Barbara has studied free-form with Prudence Mapstone.

Karen Samson is a longtime painter and lover of color. Upon leaving the Midwest and arriving in Tucson, she fell in love with felting as a medium, especially wet felting. She is continually learning new techniques in felting and invaluable techniques for altering fabric surfaces. A workshop with Prudent Mapstone, along with her long-time love of fiber, knitting and relatively-newfound skills in crocheting, led her to create this freeform workshop.
